Bible Text: Jeremiah 2: 11 - 13 |

We tend to think as Christians that we don't have idols. Idols aren't just physical structures you can see. An idol is anything we worship above or instead Jesus. We are all idolators. It's a matter of which ones we have. Not if. The heart will always produce idols. And what are our sins below the surface in our hearts? This is where we find to the idols that produce the sins we are on the level. We must attack our sins at the root level, not the surface! Do we forsake God as the source of everything in our lives and seek not elsewhere? Nothing will deliver satisfaction and joy outside of Jesus. Do we take good things and make them "God things"?
